If there is a solidarity event and a festival of reference in the summer, they are undoubtedly those held in the city of Marbella in the middle of August. Meeting points that could not miss the dancer and choreographer Sara Baras who also combines her facet of prestigious artist with an outstanding philanthropic work as ambassador of the association Mi Princesa Rett.
The night before the representation of Sombras in the prestigious Starlite Festival, which brings together the most important national and international artists every year, Sara Baras participated in the annual solidarity dinner promoted and presided over by Antonio Banderas.
Sara Baras collaborated as a guest artist with the Colombian Juanes and Miguel Ríos in a night attended by celebrities from different fields in order to raise funds for different solidarity projects.
On Sunday night, at the unique and magical place called Cantera de Nagüeles in Marbella, the company of Sara Baras thrilled the spectators who completed the event with this latest flamenco show entitled “Sombras”, that has been created to coincide with the twentieth anniversary of her company.
Sombras continues to reap successes in this intense tour in and out of Spain. On August 24th she will receive in the city of San Javier in Murcia the Prize of the 49th International Festival of Music and Dance Theater, on 25th will be Alcalá de Henares who will receive Sara Baras to later offer her “Sombras” at the Calderón Theater in Valladolid from September 4th to 9th.
