“Sara Baras. Todas las voces” will be screened internationally at festivals and movie theaters


Next August it will premiere in Japanese movie theaters


Since its first screening at the Festival de Málaga, the documentary feature “Sara Baras. Todas las voces”, directed by Rafa Molés and Pepe Andreu has been screend at various cinema festivals both nationally and internationally, winning the favor of the audience and being acknowledged by the critics.

Among all these screenings of the documentary feature that follows the dancer and choreographer through her personality and creative process, we can highlight its participation in the Spanish Film Festival of Australia or the 57th edition of the Krakow Film Festival.

“Sara Baras. Todas las voces” was awarded last month with the highest acknowledgment in the oficial section of the Festival Internacional DocsValencia, and given the “Miradas” award to the best documentary feature.

On the 18th of August it will premiere at Le Cinéma Bunkamura in Tokio and will be screened in movie theaters all over Japan; in Chiba, Yokohama, Osaka, Kobe, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sendai, Sapporo, Shizuoka, Kioto and Okinawa.

The documentary feature stretches through the tour that presents “Voces” all over Spain, France, Mexico or the USA. “Sara Baras: Todas las voces” shows Sara Baras’ personality and her values, in contrast with such diverse societies. It also reveals the work and effort she shows putting this show together in three weeks and how the established can be modified through the voices we decide to listen to and follow.

Palma will be the next stop for Voces

Sara Baras comes back to the Auditorium of Palma de Mallorca on the 28th and 29th of July. This time she will bring the show Voces, a production that has already been brought to the most important international stages – and, more recently, to Nuevo Apolo Theatre, in Madrid – with huge success, a show that honours the greatest flamenco figures of all times.
